FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition

FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition provides all of the FmPro Migrator Developer Edition features, but also includes additional license keys with a 1 year duration (renewable):

FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition documents and migrates FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Access and Visual FoxPro applications. Data transfers are supported to Oracle, MySQL, Access, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, OpenBase, PostgreSQL, FrontBase and Valentina databases. Access and SQL Server data transfers into FileMaker 7+ migration features are also included. Large text and JPEG image data is accurately transferred to the destination database with no manual re-keying.

Additional Features Include:
1) A Table Consolidation feature which performs the automated copying of Tables/Fields, Table Occurrences, Relationships, Value Lists, Custom Functions, ScriptMaker scripts and Layouts between FileMaker 11 - 13 database files on MacOS X and FileMaker 8 - 11 on Windows.
2) A Layout XML Export Feature, which exports the definition of each FileMaker Layout into an XML file containing all of the Layout object definitions along with embedded layout graphics.

FmPro Migrator Developer Edition leverages the application automation features of AppleScript(Mac)/WinAutomation(Win) when controlling the FileMaker graphical interface. FmPro Migrator Developer Edition uses customized shortcuts to automate the creation of Table Occurrences, Value Lists, Custom Functions, Relationships and Layouts within the consolidated database file. Migrated Table/Field definitions and ScriptMaker scripts are pasted into FileMaker Pro Advanced via the ClipBoard.

FmPro Script Diff compares, edits, searches and stores FileMaker ScriptMaker scripts - outside the FileMaker database. Changed scripts are compared on a line-by-line basis and displayed with color coded tags to the left of each modified line. Interline changes are also highlighted to indicate Changed, Added or Deleted text. Each script’s XML source can be manually edited or updated via the Search & Replace feature, and pasted back into FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Advanced.

FmPro Layout Diff extracts and compares field info from FileMaker 7/8/8.5 layouts. This info is presented in a columnar format for viewing, exporting, and comparison. Fields are compared by either Field ID or Field Name, with the resulting differences displayed in a re-sizable, sortable list. FmPro Layout Diff quickly shows FileMaker 8.5 layout object names for an entire layout, without requiring each and every object to be individually clicked in layout mode. Large layouts are instantly resized and printed on a single printed page for documentation and development purposes.

The robust Perl CGI scripts generated by CGIScripter allow insert, query, update and delete for all datatypes stored within database tables (including images and large text columns). The well-documented Perl CGI scripts generated by CGIScripter utilize industry standard best practices regarding web form processing, and also include complete SQL table creation code and HTML files.

FmPro Worksheet is a free utility which sends SQL commands to FileMaker 7/8 databases via an ODBC connection. Results and error messages are returned within the program and can be saved to disk. All FileMaker 7/8 SQL commands are supported including CREATE TABLE, DROP TABLE, SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. Using FmPro Worksheet, developers can easily create, and reload FileMaker 7/8 SQL commands using standard text files.

SQLite Diff

SQLite Diff is a fast and easy to use graphical comparison tool for SQLite database files, comparing both the schema and the data. Schema results include comparisons of tables/columns, triggers, indexes and views. Changed SQL code including trigger SQL, index creation SQL, view creation SQL code and changed data records are displayed with yellow highlighting to make it easier to see the differences between the compared files.

The FileMaker 7 AppleScript Reference document provides a quick reference guide to commonly used FileMaker 7 AppleScript commands. This document provides a description of each code example, the FileMaker 6 example code, and the FileMaker 7 example code. Selected code examples return their results formatted in a manner which makes for easier processing by other programs. The FileMaker 7 version of this document enables developers to copy and paste example code directly from each field of the database.
